Hello Gwyn

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

To create a template, set up your master slide(s) by going to View - Master - Slide master; then save your file as a template.

To save as a template, go to File - Save as and change the file type under Save as type to PowerPoint template (.pot). Enter a filename and save.
