I find in PowerPoint presentations scrolling through the presentations jumps from slide to slide - but on some presentations they scroll down. Is there a way to resize these to make sure they all scroll in the same way?

Hi Daniel

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

You can fix this by adjusting the zoom. If the zoom is set so you can see the edges of the slide in the area where the slide is displayed on your screen, then scrolling down will result in PowerPoint jumping to the next slide.

If the zoom is set so that you can't see all edges of the slide then scrolling down will result in scrolling down on just the slide you see on your screen, i.e. you will not be able to jump to the next slide.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

Powerpoint tip:

Removing unused toolbar buttons in PowerPoint

Are there buttons on your PowerPoint toolbars that you never use? Remove them from the toolbar by doing the following:

1. Go to Tools - Customise - Commands.
2. Select the toolbar button you wish to remove, then use your mouse to drag and drop the button into the PowerPoint window. When you release your finger from the mouse, the button will disappear.
