Can you link a previous task to the second part of a split task - and if yes, how?

Hi Lisa

thanks for your question - I'm not aware of a way to link to the second part of a split task. An alternative might be to make a summary task comprising the two halves of the activity. This way you could link to the second half then close the summary task.

In the sub tasks you might like to turn on Roll up to summary task (Task information dialog box, general tab) then set the summary line to hide its bar (also in the Task information dialog box, general tab)

Hope this helps - let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew
