How do I find out the version of Access I am working on, and also install a different version?

RE: Microsoft Access

Hello Sarah

Thank you for your question.

To tell which version of Access you are using, open Access and check the following:
1. Does it have a menu bar at the top of the screen? If not you are using the 2007 version.
2. If there is a menu bar, then go to the Help menu and select About Microsoft Access. This will tell you which version you have.

I can't provide support regarding installation of Access as this forum is not for technical support, but if you have any questions relating the content of the Access training you have received, please feel free to post your queries via the forum.

Zoom feature for queries

If youare working on on query design and creating a calculated field, it can be hard to view the whole statement. You can hold the shift key down and press F2, to show the zoomed up version of the query field
