Is there a function / facility, similar to Excel, where when you are in draw mode, that you can 'snap' to a grid, therefore ensuring that text boxes / fields are perfectly aligned.

Thank you for your post: in answer to your question No there is not a 'snap to grid' facility, however in Forms or Reports in design view you will see grid lines which will enable you to manally align one of your controls, you can then select all the controls you wish to align to it and from the Format Menu select Align and from the options make your choice.
