I'm creating a new database for a pilot project which has to be useful for an external user. They will want to record data that we cannot have access too, but will code for data that we want. For example we cannot collect postcode but we do want primary care trust (PCT) and lower super output area (LSOA) which is based on postcode. How would I be able to create a new table which will not record postcode, but will record PCT and LSOA, without the user physically typing them in. I think it has to do with linking postcode to a look up table.
Thank you

Dear Rachel

Thank you for attending the Access Courses. I hope you enjoyed them and have benefited from them.

I know you aksed this question when you attended Access Intro but since then you have attended Access Intermediate and Advanced courses. I believe one of the features might have helped you in resolving your query.

I personally think that Look up Wizard could be one of the possible answer to your query.

If LookUp wizard doesn't work then please explain your query a bit more in detail with some other example and we'll see if there is a better solution or not!!!

Please mark this post as resolved if you have already found a solution to your query.

Kindest Regards
