Importing data

Since starting to work with Access 2007 I cannot just "copy" and "paste" data from excel directly into Access table even though the headers are exactly the same. Is this function not available in Access 2007?

RE: importing data

Hi malgorzata

Thank you for your question

I suggest using the paste append command. If you select the row that you need to copy, and click copy

Then open access and the table that is to receive the data. Then select the "Home" ribbon and select Paste append from the paste options button.

This seems to copy the data across as required

Regards

Stephen
