Outlook Calendars - Invitees to recurring meetings

When I open a series of a recurring meeting and delete attendees, why does it continue to show those names when I open a single occurrence of the meeting. This means that if one occurrence is updated, people who are no longer on the invitees list are sent updates.

Thank you

RE: Outlook Calendars - Invitees to recurring meetings

Hi Barbara

When you opened the meeting to delete the attendees did you open the series?

If you only opened "This Occurence" that could be your problem.

When you open the series and delete attendees and click update it should also ask you if you want to update all the attendees or the ones remaining.

It should also delete the unwanted attendees from all instances of the appointment.

Hope this helps

Carlos

RE: Outlook Calendars - Invitees to recurring meetings

Thanks Carlos, but unfortunately I did open the series to delete the attendees. I suppose this is one problem we just have to put down to the quirks of Outlook.

Regards

Barbara
