RE: chart Animation

Dear Colorado

Thank you for attending PowerPoint 2007 course. I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

To animate charts please follow these steps:

Click on the slide that contains the Chart.

Select the chart and then choose Animations Tab on the ribbon.

Click on the Custom Animations button

On the Custom Animations task pane choose Add Effect and select the effect of your choice.

Once you have selected one of the animation effects you will notice that the whole chart is animated.

If you wish to animate your chart so that the animation is applied series by series, etc... click on the drop down arrow of the effect that you applied on the right hand side.

Choose Chart animation tab

The Group chart drop down box will have following options:
As one object, By series, By categories, By element in series or by Elements in category.

Experiment with various options and finalise which is best suited for your need.

NB: you can apply the same spets for animation for your Smart Arts such as Organisation charts, etc..

I hope this has helped!! If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
