Access forms and tables

When I have an existing table and linked form, can I amend the form (i.e. add a new field/ combo box etc) to add information to the existing table? Or do I have to create a whole new table and form?

RE: Access forms and tables

You don't need to create a new table. Open the existing table in design view and add the field at the bottom of the list of fields and save the table and close it.

If you used Autoform to create your form you could repeat that, or you could open your existing form in design mode and drag the new field from the field list onto your form.

Does that solve your problem?
