RE: Powerpoint2007

Hello Vida

Thank you for your question.

I've attached an Excel spreadsheet which lists where each feature is in PowerPoint 2003, and where you will now find it in PowerPoint 2007. I hope you find this useful.

RE: Powerpoint2007

Many thanks for this,

Could you show me quickly how to change the arrow bullet points to solid arrow points please?

RE: Powerpoint2007

Hi Vida

You can change a bullet shape by clicking next to the existing bullet, then:

1. On the Home tab, click the dropdown arrow next to the Bullets and numbering button.
2. Select Bullets and Numbering from the bottom of the list.
3. Click the Customize button in the bottom right corner
4. Select Wingdings from the font dropdown arrow.
5. Scroll down through the shapes so you can find the arrow options.
6. Select the arrow you wish to use and click OK.
7. Click OK again to apply the bullet shape.

RE: Powerpoint2007

Thank you so much Amanda. I found it in windings4. Mark showed us windings but I'd forgotten all about it. Now I have the bullets I want but I want my points to be justified against the point and not going under the point when the point is more than one line.

example;

* kdkddddlddldldldldlld
ldlddldldldldldl
*kdkkkkkkdkdkdkk
*dlddlldlllllllllldlldldl

Thank you

Vida

RE: Powerpoint2007

Hi Vida

If you are using the slide layout which shows a bullet point by default, rather than choosing a slide layout which does not show a bullet point or drawing and using a text box yourself manually, you should not have this problem.

i.e. if you go to the Home tab and click the Layout button in the Slides group, and choose the Title and Content layout slide, each bullet point should line up as you have described.

RE: Powerpoint2007

Many thanks Amanda,

I had to use a title only slide layout because it was a diagram sort of thing and I needed the bullets to be in the text boxes or shapes. I had to manually move them to line up.

Thank you

Vida
