Saara has attended:
Outlook Introduction course

Outlook replys/forwarded messages

How can I get the text in replies and forwarded messages appear in black, not in blue?

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Outlook replys/forwarded messages

Hi Saara

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

Try the following:
1. In Outlook, go to Tools - Options, then to the Mail Format tab.
2. Under Stationary and Fonts click the Fonts... button.
3. The second box you see should be related to font used 'When replying and forwarding' - click the Choose Font...
button next to this box.
4. Font colour should be in the bottom left of the next screen - change the font colour to black.
5. Click OK, OK and OK again to exit.

Outlook tip:

Emptying mail bin when exiting Outlook 2010

If you prefer not to have hundred's of messages pile up in your Deleted Items folder in Outlook 2010, click on the File menu, then Options, then click Advanced, find the Outlook Start and Exit section. Check the box next to Empty Deleted Items folder when exiting Outlook.
