Searching for a record

When I am entering new people into the database, I like to look in the little 'search' box at the bottom of the screen to see if they are already there.
However if there is more than one person called e.g. Michael, it only brings up one of them. How do I scroll through all the other Michaels? Or can I not do this with this search function? Do I have to build a query instead?
Thanks!

RE: Searching for a record

Hi Nancy

Thank you for the question.

When you enter a value to search it jumps straight to the first occurrence it can find. If you press the return it jump to the next occurrence.

When it doesn't change record on pressing return it means there are no more occurrences of your search term.

Does that answer your question?

Regards

Laura GB
