Mike has attended:
Excel Introduction course

Setting up a personal calender

Please advise as to how to set up your own personel calender as a template so to ensure all programmes are based off of the same company calender

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Setting up a personal calender

Hi Mike

One approach would be to save your project as a template, perhaps removing all the tasks first so people can add their project tasks to the calendar you have already created.

To create a project template goto the file menu and choose save as. In the dialog box change save as type to template. When you click OK Project asks you if there is any information you'd like to remove from the plan before it is turned into a template.

I hope this helps - let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Ms project tip:

Typing Links Between Tasks

In the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between.
