Can you copy objects (eg complex tables) between databases to avoid starting froms scratch every time?

yes you can, just copy and paste with the table closed, into the table list area in the copy to database.

Dear Evelyn
Thank you for attending Access Intermediate course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
You can easily export various object from one database to another by simply choosing the object and choosing External Data Tab on the Ribbon. In the Export group click on the drop down arrow on the More button and then choose Access Database.
In the next window choose the database the object needs to be exported to. Then press OK.
If you are exporting a table then Access will ask you if you want to export the Definition and data or Definition only. This simply means if you want all the design structure as well as all teh records to be exported tyne you'll choose definition and data but if you just wanted to export only the Design view without any records then you'll choose Definition Only.
What Martin has suggested is helpful if you wanted the same table in the same database!! Thank you Martin for your contribution!!
