Hello Jo

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

An action button is used to provide a trigger to perform a certain action when the button is clicked. The action the button performs can encompass a range of things, e.g. go to the beginning or end of the presentation, open a web page or other file.

Action buttons only work in slide show view (i.e. when a slide takes up the whole screen).
