Hi Mark

Thanks for your question. A quick way to link your tasks would be to move your mouse pointer over the bar for the task (so you can see the four headed arrow) left click and drag down the screen until you reach the successor task and let go. MS Project drops in a Finish to Start relationship

To draw attention to a bar on your Gantt chart simply double click it. From the dialogue box that opens make your selection of text and bar modifications.
