Orphaned files

How do we delete orphaned files?
This has become a problem recently, as our new server is very sensitive to broken links. We are not able to delete orphaned files locally as they sit on the remote server. However this is now causing problems as when we try to publish, we are told we are unable to as there are broken links, which corrupt the files. Is there any way around this, anyway the orphaned files could be deleted or put somewhere else.
Removing Dreamweaver HTML Orphaned files
Hi Anne
I hope you enjoyed your dreamweaver training.
In answer to your question one of the best solutions I have come up with to solve you Dreamweaver HTML orphan file problem is to use a piece of software called Inspyder OrFind
This piece of software will search and remove all orphaned files created with Dreamweaver or any other website design software.
Hope this helps
David
