Do you have some example VBA macros I could work from to help me learn this skill?

RE: VBA

Hi Neil

Sorry for the delay in answering this question.

Macros are created to resolve a specific problem and as such aren't generic. This makes it difficult to give you code to help you learn.

I suggest you record some macros of your own and look at how the system creates the code.

If you are interested in learning more about VBA look on our website for our Introduction to VBA course.

Regards

Carlos

Excel tip:

Hiding Formulae in the Formula Bar

It is possible to protect the contents of a cell reference(s) from amendment by applying cell protection. The contents of the cell reference can also be stopped from displaying in the formula bar.

Step 1: Select Format > Cells > Protection.

Step 2: Tick Hidden option. Ensure Locked is ticked

Step 3: Select Tools > Protection > Protect Sheet

(Ensure "Protect worksheet and contents of locked cells" is ticked)
