Database on opening

Hi,
When I open a database on our server, an error message pops up saying "The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on machine 'HERRADURA' that prevents if from being opened or locked."
We've already identified the machine 'HERRADURA'. So whenever that machine has the database opened, the rest of us in the team just get this error message above and don't get access to the database...
Would be great if you could have a look. It's pretty urgent since we can't get into the database but HERRADURA needs to use the database.
Thanks,
Sammie

RE: Database on opening

Hi Sammie

Thanks for your question. You may find the following information from the Microsoft support website a helpful starting point. Do speak with your IT team to make sure it applies to your circumstances (as it is described as applying to Access 2000)

It sounds like the problem you are encountering is likely to require more specialist technical support than we are able to provide on the forum. Take a look at the Microsoft product support pages at http://support.microsoft.com/selectindex/default.aspx

Kind regards,
Andrew
