How do you best work with a resource pool across International countries?

RE: Resource pools

Hi Paul

Thank you for your question

The key to getting this to work is to have different base calendars for each legal jurisdiction. This will allow you to represent the different public holidays that apply in different countries. Copies of each base calendar can then be allocated to each relevant resource.

Thus if you had three shifts in France and two in germany, then you would need 5 base calendars in total.

Hope this is useful

Regards

Stephen

Ms project tip:

Compare Work and Duration

Duration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field.
