Cross Tab report with Parameter

Hi I'm trying to build a report from a cross tab querie, and the querie has two parameter, start date and end date. When I select the querie in report wizard, there is nothing selectable from the cross tab querie. I tried without a parameter and it worked. Any idea how to get the parameter work with the report please?

thanks.

RE: Cross Tab report with Parameter

Dear LU

Thank you for attending Access Intermediate Course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

The answer to your query is not a straight forward one. This requires a bit of understanding of the VBA code. Instead of me going through this step by step with you I would recommend you to refer to the following link:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;328320

The good thing is that it also uses the same fields that you are looking for.

If the link helps you in answering your query then well and good if it doesn

Access tip:

Switchboard Startup

An option when you open your Access database that contains all of you tables, forms and queries is only the switchboard is displayed.

To achieve this, select Tools click on Startup. On the right hand side of the Startup screen you are able to select which form you want to open when you open you Access Database. Once you have selected this, there is a check box just below that says "Display Database Window", you need to uncheck this option. Then click ok.

Then when you close you Access database and re open it, the database should open with just the switchboard being shown
