Hi Genevieve

Thanks for your post - sorry for my late reply

The reason for using the journal is so that you can keep a track of set things you do on behalf of staff or clients, if you go to the tools menu and options - under the preferences tab you will find the options for the automatic monitoring in the journal - also you can go into the journal view and create a new journal entry for many different things
