Hi Chris
Thank you for your question. A quick way to link two projects is first to create a blank overview document which will temporarily hold the two projects to be linked. In the blank menus choose Insert > project... and chose one of the files to be linked. Repeat the process with the second file. In the combined project use the mouse to drag a link between the tasks that connect across the projects. By default Project will give you a Finish to Start relationship. If necessary double click on the link and change it to the type of link that best serves your project.
Save and close the files. You can delete the overview file. The remaining projects will contain tasks that link to each other.
