Hi Joanne,

Thanks for your question. Each task has two handles (start and finish). When two tasks are connected you have a choice of four combinations of these handles:

Finish to Start - the default connection
Start to Start - the beginning of the predecessor drives the start of the successor
Finish to Finish - the end of the predecessor drives the end of the successor
and
Start to Finish - the beginning of the predecessor determines the finish of the successor. This usually occurs when the predecessor is later than the successor.
