Remove standard Outlook tabs

Hi,

We are trying to streamline our Outlook. Is it possible to remove/ hide unwanted buttons - i.e. RSS feeds, Notes, Journal.

Dear David

I am not sure if you can remove the buttons but you can ensure that no RSS feed is received by following these steps:

1. Open Outlook 2007.

2. From the Tools menu choose Options.

3. Click the Mail Setup tab. Click the Send/Receive button.

4. With All Accounts selected, click Edit.

5. In the Accounts pane on the left hand side, select RSS.

6. Un-check(deselect) the Include RSS Feeds in this Send/Receive group box.


Note: This will place a red "X" over the RSS account.

Click OK.

If you want Outlook to automatically close the message window after each time you send a reply, click on File, then Options, then Mail, then scroll down to Replies and Forwards and check ''Close original message window when replying or forwarding.''
