How do you link two or more tables together and run a query on them both?

Dear Lisa
Thank you for attending Access Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
You would link the table by follwoing these steps:
1. File > Get Extrnal Data > Link tables...
2. Select the Database that contains the table to be linked
3. Click the link button
4. In the Link table dialog box select the table/s that you wish to link.
5. Press OK
This will link the tables. You can notice this by observing the blue arrow in front of the table name.
You can create a query as normal by choosing the table and linked table in the show table window and then choosing the fields from the tables.
Please be careful while doing that. If there is no relationship between the tables then the data you might get may not make much sense!!
