Master slides

How do I set the template to always open in the normal slide view rather than the outline view?

RE: Master slides

Hi Kate

Thanks for your question.

One option is to save your presentation in the view you would like to see when it opens.

Alternatively you can change the way PowerPoint behaves when you open any new file. From the Tools menu choose Options > View and at the bottom of the dialog box select which view PowerPoint should use when opening a file.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Powerpoint tip:

Showing all menu items

If you go into a pull down menu you usally find that you get a selection of items(this is the default) or sometimes everything. If you only get a selectiopn you have to go to the double arrows at the bottom of the menu and click it to get all of the hidden items.
To turn this off so that you always get everything, go to Tools / Customize / Options Tab / "Always show full menus". Make sure there is a tick in the box and you will always have every item.
