Weekends

If a task spans a non working weekend, how do you hide the task bar over the weekend?

RE: Weekends

Hi Colin

Thank you for your question. You can format the non-working time so it sits above the bars on the Gantt chart.

From the Format menu choose Timescale then select Non-Working Time. Click the radio button to draw it in front of task bars and click OK.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Ms project tip:

Inserting Task Durations Quickly

When entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day.
