Hello I was wondering if you could help:

i have a form containing 'service information' on equipment at offices like fire extinguishers etc (includes date of last test, equipment provider, Supplier, equipment type and period of review)on 'equipment' at 'offices'.

I also have a subform which shows the (all) 'date of the last test' for this product. i want the two forms to work together so i can enter a date in the 'date of last test' on the main form and it will enter it as a new records on the subform and store the prevoius date still in this subform. is that possible?
Thank-you

RE: Access

Hi Samantha

Thanks for your question, as it relates directly to your own database we may well need you to provide more detail on what you are trying to achieve before we can be confident of giving you a correct answer!

It may well be a quick solution or a more involved consultative approach that needs to be taken.

I will email you separately and if you can reply that will be great.

Regards

Jacob

Access tip:

Hiding Multiple Table columns

If you want to hide non-adjacent Access table columns. In Datasheet view, open the table that contains the columns you want to hide.

On the Format menu, click Unhide Columns.
In the Unhide Columns dialog box, clear the check box next to the name of each column you want to hide.
Click Close.

This method makes having to use the Hide Columns command repeatedly unnecessary
