RE: Powerpoint

Hello Cally

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

You can animate slides in PowerPoint 2007 by going to the Animations tab.

There is a little dropdown window next to the word 'Animate' in a group of buttons called Animations, which you can use to add animations to bits of your slide.

You will need to ensure you have selected the bit of the slide you wish to animate first, before selecting the animation effect you wish to use from the dropdown arrow.

Selecting Custom Animation from the dropdown list will give you more options.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

Microsoft office tip:

Copying From Websites

If you find some interesting text on a website that you wish to use and adapt in your wordprocessor or other package, highlight and copy in the normal way first.

When you paste though, use the Paste Special option to insert as unformatted text. That cuts out all the fancy formatting and hyperlinks that may be embedded.
