Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

A macro is a series of steps that have been recorded and are played/run to automatically carry out those same steps, without a person having to manually carry out those steps.

The advantage of creating macro is that it speeds up the carrying out of tasks that you frequently perform in an application.
