Upgrade to Office 2007 course

Word

When I open a new document in Word, how can i set the line spacing to 0? It always starts a new document with double spacing.

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Word

Hello Amy

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

The settings for a new document are controlled by Word's Normal template.

You can change the settings for Word's Normal template, however I would check to see if there is any problem with you doing this at work before you go ahead.

Instructions are shown here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HP011210281033.aspx

Kind regards
Amanda

Oops, sorry about that!

Please try the following, let me know if you have any problems:

1. Click the Microsoft Office button.
2. Click Open.
3. Select Templates
4. Double click the Normal template (to open it).
5. Make your changes and click Save on the toolbar.

Kind regards
Amanda
