Word Heading Styles

I have accidently saved over an existing style in Word. How can I go back to the original?

RE: Word Heading Styles

Dear Veronika

Thank you for attending Upgrade to Office 2007 course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

I hope that you have applied the original style to some of the text in the document. If you have then you can click anywhere inside the text wit the original style and then choose the new style button on the Styles pane on the right hand side.

In the Style 1 box type the name you gave to the original style and then simply pres Ok.

If this doesn't work then please let me know!

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards

RE: Word Heading Styles

makes sense - sorry I didn't think if that. It's a problem I encountered on my laptop at home when I wrote my thesis.

Cheers,

Veronika

Microsoft office tip:

Fine Tuning for AutoShapes

The Windows drawing tools are generally labelled lines, rectangles, oval, etc. Similarly in the Office Suite.

To regulate any shape, straight line, square, circle, stars, smiley faces, etc ... hold down the Shift key while you draw the shape. Remember to release the mouse button before releasing the Shift key.
