Microsoft Access (2003)

This is a very general Question. Currently all data that we keep where I currently work is kept on Excel. Why do people migrate from Excel to Access, i.e. what are the added features?

RE: Microsoft Access (2003)

Dear Anita

Thank you for attending Access Intermediate course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

Excel is mainly used for data that is Numerical and contains a lot of complicated calculations whereas Access is used mainly for analysis purposes where you might want to easily get a historical data and so on. Access as you may appreciate after doing the intermediate course is a relational database package.
