Hi Anna,

Thank you for your question.

This in response to the problem with the top border missing in the word handouts.

If you go into Slide Master view, add a rectangle around the edge of the slide and change the order by sending it to the back. Change the colour of the border to black by using the Shape Outline option available under the Format tab.

Then when you publish the document to Word, you will see the borders.

Ways to make exact copies of shapes

There are several ways of making exact copies (duplicates) of shapes you have already drawn in PowerPoint:

1. Use Copy and Paste.

2. Select the shape you wish to duplicate and use Ctrl + D.

3. Select the shape to be duplicated, then hold down the Ctrl key while you drag to the position where you want the duplicate shape to appear.
