Convert dates from dd/mm/yy to mm/dd/yy and vice-versa

Hi,

I am trying to write some code to enable me to convert a UK date to a US date and vice versa.

I have tried a number of ways but with no success. Does anybody have any suggestions?

(if it helps I have also built a form with command buttons to select which way to convert)

Thanks

Hi Emma

Thanks for your post and by what you have outlined this isn't a straight forward 5 minute fix via the forum.

If you can send through a file with your sample form and a bullet pointed outline of the key features you require we can do the following.

If you would like to take this route please do let me know.

Access tip:

Prefixed Autonumbering

When using Date Type = Autonumber as a primary key, clients may require autonumbering to be prefixed with a letter.

For example, P001, where P is the prefixed letter

Instructions
Step 1. Create Field Name
Step 2. Set Data Type to Autonumber
Step 3. Within Field Property General tabsheet,
enter Format property as [backslash]P000
