RE: Word

Dear Jennifer

Thank you for attending Upgrade to Office 2007 course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

As you may already know that in Office 2007 you don't need to remember the old shortcut keys because all you have to do is Press the ALT key on eth keyboard and the on Ribbon all the tabs have letters assigned and the buttons on eth Quick Access Toolbar have numbers assigned. You can simply press the letters or numbers instead of using the mouse.

The good thing is that it still allows you to use the most of the old shortcut keys that you used in Office 2003.

Please find below the link to see the shortcut keys for Word.

Please note that there are various categories so choose the category which is of interest to you and then may be copy and paste the shortcut keys in a blank Word/Excel file.

For the more common tasks done in Word you can choose the category called Quick Reference.

If you want the list of shortcut keys for MS Word then please refer to the following link where I have already answered a previous query:

http://www.microsofttraining.net/post-20684-shortcut-keys.html#20684

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards

Microsoft office tip:

Short cut tips

Instead of just seeing the default setting of screentip names, when you place the mouse pointer over the toolbar, you can also see the keyboard short cut for accessing the button as well.

To this click on Tools, Customise, options tab.

Under Other you will see the option of Show shortkeys in screentip
