Task name - adding a paragraph break

Some of my task names are very long and will not fit onto the maximum width allowd for the column. How can I insert a paragraph break to allow the text to go on 2 lines. I have tried 'alt+return' as in an excel cell but this does not work.

Any help much appreciated

RE: Task name - adding a paragraph break

Within the ID column (column to the far left), hover over the line that seperates the two tasks. You will notice your cursor changes. Hold down with your left mouse button and drag the cursor down. Make the height of row double what it is by default. The text within the task Name will now wrap.

Hope this helps!

Ms project tip:

Inserting Task Durations Quickly

When entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day.
