RE: Automatic archiving of emails

Hi Sharon

Thanks for your post though I may need some more information from you to clarify what you want to do.

With Outlook the archive feature is available so that you can maintain an efficiently sized mailbox but still have the option to access your archive for older messages.

You shouldn't be left in a position where archived messages are non retrievable!

Kind regards

Jacob

RE: Automatic archiving of emails

Hi Jacob

Thanks for replying. I must have got my wires crossed thinking that archived emails are deleted from the system forever!

How would I go about setting up the archiving of emails?

Kind regards

Sharon

RE: Automatic archiving of emails

Dear Sahron

To set the AutoArchive please follow these steps:

1. Choose Tools> Options...

2. Click the other tab and then click on the AutoArchive button.

3. Choose the options as to how often you want the auto archive to run.

Please look at the other options that you would like to set.

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
