Power Point Advanced

Hi,
I would like to know the difference between Title Master and Slide Master? in Which way they works? Which is their utility?

I know that the title Slides is a unique slide in Slide Layout, but if I insert a new Title Master and than I change for instance the background of the Title Master`s title and subtitle, what happen to the Master slide?

How can I use the summary Slide?

Thank you so much for any help you can give me.

RE: Power Point Advanced

Hello Stefania

Thank you for your question.

The Slide Master is used to create the design for all slides in the presentation.

The Title Master is used to create the design for only the title layout slides in the presentation. So if you have a Title Master, the design of this overrides the design of the Slide Master for any title layout slides in your presentation.

Changes you make to the Title Master do not affect the Slide Master in any way.

The Summary Slide is used to make a 'table of contents' for the presentation.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Amanda

RE: Power Point Advanced

Hi Amanda,
thank you a lot for your replay.
I understand.
Can I ask you an other question?
Why when I try to summarizes the title of individual slides, I can not find the Outline View in order to hghlight the titles?

Thank you
Stefania

RE: Power Point Advanced

Hello Stefania

The Outline view/pane is on the left hand side of the screen, next to the slide (you should see the word Outline on a white tab above it).

If you can't see it go to View and select Normal (Restore Panes).

Kind regards
Amanda
