Dear Alf

Thank you for attending Excel 2007 Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

I believe that because you did Excel 2007 course with us your question is more specific to Excel 2007 and not 2003.

Once you have created the chart in Excel 2007 you should be able to see a contextualised tab called Chart Tools

Within Chart Tools you will observe there are three extra sub tabs namely Design, Layout and Format

If you want to change the colour of the existing series simply select one of the series and then click on the Format tab under the Shape style group you can choose your desired colour.

Switch on smart tags – Excel 2007

In order to use smart tags, make sure they are turned on, to do this:
1. Click on ‘Microsoft Office‘ button and then click on ‘Excel Options‘.
2. Click on ‘Proofing‘ category and then click on ‘Auto Correct Options‘.
3. In the ‘Auto Correct‘ dialogue box appears, click the ‘Smart Tags‘ Tab.
4. Tick the boxes, next to the Smart Tags you wish to use in Excel
