Code

(for MX)

Hi again (can you tell I'm working on the company website this week?!)

I would like to find a list of CCS code, so when I am trying to make sense of what I;m doing and look at the code screen, I can use a kind of dictionary to look up what the code is (i.e. 'strong' = bold).

Thanks,

Jo

RE: Code

Hi Jo,

You're after a 'cheat sheet'.

Try:
http://www.addedbytes.com/cheat-sheets/css-cheat-sheet/

That's the one I use, and it's very useful.

Or try searching google for 'css cheat sheet'.

Good luck :)

Regards, Rich

RE: Code

PS. I realise 'strong' and 'em' (italic) aren't on that cheat sheet, but I think that's a given. The rest are a bit harder to remember.

Dreamweaver tip:

Xhtml vs html

When using dreamwear template or just creating a blank webpage, you are able to select the markup language you want to use. The main choices are either xhtml or html. It is now best to select xhtml as this will translate all the html into xml, so it is transmitted across the web in xml format. One of the main advantages of this is that it makes the site that you build much more compatible with the range of different web browsers that exist.
