Hi Gary. Difficult to post screenshots to lead you through this, so here's a link culled from the net which I hope will point you in the right direction. Secondly, importing Flash animation seems to be an increasing headache as Adobe and Microsoft develop there products and there is information here that should help you out:

There appears to be no quick fix, so if you're desperate to include bespoke animations it might be an idea to convert them to wmv/avi files and import that way. I have important swf files into earlier versions of Powerpoint on a PC myself, but security issues appear to be getting in the way nowadays!
