How to enable a field

I want to be able to unlocked fields in a form when 'Yes' has been selected.

Example . Please tick 'Yes' If you are at Uni, this will then give you the permission to enter more details in the relevant fields.
If 'No' is selected the fields will be locked.

Thanks
Fiona

RE: How to enable a field

Hi Fiona

Thanks for your post on what you are trying to achieve.

To provide a working step-by-step solution that you can apply successfully to your database does fall outside the remit of this forum.

We can build this solution for you as a consultative exercise but there may be an associated cost in terms of trainer development time. Furthermore you won't have the core knowledge yourself to undertake similar work as your database grows and the needs arise.

A better solution will be for you to attend our 2 day Access VBA course, where amongst other areas you will also be able to learn what you need to achieve this solution. For more information on the course, please click here

Tue 26 May 2009: Automatically marked as resolved.

You can uset eh year function to work out the year from NOW function and then subtract it with your date of birth type field
