Stephen has attended:
Dreamweaver CS3 Introduction course

Zip file of course material

I've received the zipped email file of the course on Dreamweaver CS3 but the attached file is for Dreamweaver 8, not CS3. Why is this?

RE: Zip file of course material

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for your question. I hope you enjoyed the Dreamweaver training.

I just wanted to clarify with you: you say you received the e-mail file of the course. Is that a zip file you created on the course, and sent to yourself?

If this is the case, and you are now opening your HTML files, and they're opening in Dreamweaver 8, it's because the computer you're now working on is associating web page documents (.htm or .html) with Dreamweaver 8, which is installed on your machine. You need to change the association of these files to open with Dreamweaver CS3 (assuming you have it installed on your machine).

To do this, right click a .htm or .html file in Windows Explorer (eg. MyComputer) and choose Properties. Then, where it says 'Open with: <PROGRAM>', click the 'Change' button and select which application you'd like Windows to associate your file with.

Or, if are you referring to our Courseware Download, with reference material etc. If this is what you are referring to, and you received version 8, please let me know and I can send you the link to the CS3 Courseware Download.

If I'm wrong on both accounts, please reply with more information and clarification of your question, so that I can assist you.

If this answer resolves your query, please mark the question as 'resolved' (see below). Otherwise, please post a follow-up response to this post, and I will assist you further.

Regards, Rich

RE: Zip file of course material

Hi Rich,
I'm referring to the Courseware download. It actually appears to be for Dreamweaver 8. Could you send me the CS3 download.
Thanks
Steve
