How does one automatically expand the width of a column to fit the contents, if one doesn't want to wrap text?

Hello Bridget

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

To automatically expand the width of a column so it fits the widest piece of data within the column, position your cursor so that it is directly on top of the divider between dark grey box showing the letter of the column that you wish to expand, and the next grey box at the top of the column to the right of the column you're expanding. Then double-click the left mouse button.

Excel tip:

Using basic functions without doing formulas

When you highlight figures Autocalc tells you the total in the bottom right of the screen, but if you right click on the sum it will give you some basic functions. The functions are Min, Max, Average, Sum, Count, and Count Nums.
