Hello Rosie

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

Yes, you are able to create macros using the macro recorder in Excel like you can in Word.

The only slight difference to be aware of is that if you are recording a macro that has something to do with using a formula, then there is a button that controls whether the macro will use relative references or not.

You may notice this additional button on the Record Macro toolbar that appears on your screen when recording, next to the Stop Recording button.
