Excel Advanced course

Fonts

I have set the default font to Arial in the Excel options but when I type new lines in my table it still uses Calibri. How do I get it to use Arial at all times?

RE: Fonts

Hi Rhiannon, thanks for your query. It sounds like you need to alter the font in the Excel template. Create a new workbook and format every cell into Arial. Then save that workbook as a template and generate your spreadsheets from that. That should force all new text into Arial.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Excel tip:

Deleting a range of cells using the autofill handle

Firstly, select the range of cells for which you would like to clear the contents. Then drag the autofill handle to the the top left corner of the selection whilst holding down the shift key. Your selected contents should then be deleted.
