Hi RowanThank you for your question. The project start date can be adjusted by either by using Project > Project information and setting the start date. This pushes the start of the project forward. When all the float has been consumed the remaining tasks in the plan will also be pushed forward.
If you would like to move your tasks and retain float goto View > Toolbars > Analysis and click on the adjust dates button. Setting a date using this button will move the project forward and move all tasks keeping them in their respective positions. This means that constraint dates will be re-calculated by the software.
